Cala s’Almunia is a beach located in the Cala Llombard region in the southeastern part of the island, about 10km from Santanyí. One of the most precious beaches on the island is a great alternative for those who find their neighbor Caló de Moro too crowded.
The beach is divided into two bathing zones: one next to the small fishermen’s houses built on the rocks where you can enter the water by an old pier or jumping directly from the rocks (from 1 to 5 meters high) and the second, from opposite side, where there is a small area of sand and rocks. The waters of this beach are crystal clear and suitable for swimming and snorkeling. There are no services on the beach so we recommend bringing food to spend the day.
Access is made by car which must be parked in Cala Llombards, about 15 minutes walk from s’Almunia. Although it may be tempting to enter the residents’ area and park closer to the beach, we warn that police control is very strict and does not usually spare the smarties.
