Cala Mondragó

Cala Mondragó is a white sand beach that is located about 10km from Santanyi and the tourist complex of Cala D’Or. The beach attracts tourists from these two regions but is also very frequented by locals who appreciate the incredible nature of the place, which in 1992 was transformed into a natural park by the Balearic government.

The beach offers a lot of comfort with two restaurants, two bars, toilets, baths, parasols and sun loungers in addition to being easily accessible by car. Considered one of the best blue flag beaches, its waters are clean and ideal for families with small children and snorkelers. During the summer months the beach can get a little crowded and a good option is to walk to the neighboring S’Amarador beach, which is more extensive and just as beautiful.

The natural park has 785 hectares and several trails. This precious ecosystem is home to several birds, flowers, plants and moths and is an interesting option for those who want to go beyond sunbathing and swimming.
