Cala Agulla

Capdepera

Description

Cala Agulla is a blue flag beach located in the north of Mallorca, about 2km from
Capdepera. Although there is a small tourist complex, this beach has a very wild
character, surrounded by sand dunes, pine trees, mountains and forests that are
part of the Llevant Peninsula Natural Reserve. All of this attracts many visitors in
the summer months and even though the beach is extensive, we recommend
arriving early to ensure a good spot.

This beautiful beach of sand and crystal clear waters offers plenty of convenience
to its visitors. It has toilets, public showers in addition to parasols and sunbeds that
can be rented. There are many bars serving sandwiches, drinks and ice cream and
an ideal restaurant for families.

If you are looking for fun Cala Agulla leaves nothing to be desired. Its clean waters
are great for swimming and snorkeling and because they are shallow they are great
for children too, but pay attention to some shallow rocks that can be found along
the way. The beach also has several water sports that can be rented such as SUP,
kayaks and canoes in addition to two volleyball nets.
Access by car is easy and there are numerous parking options. It is also possible to
arrive by public transport but remember to check the schedules in advance. Another
option would be to come by boat and there are several moorings available not so
close to the beach, but we do not recommend you to try to get close due to the
rocky character of the bottom.
